Nature Cure In the Beginning By Rocannon MacGregor After 37 years in the practice of alternative healing I can still highly recommend this book by Henry Lindlahr. First published in the early 1900s it has much valuable information still valid today. Perhaps most importantly is the way he presents the conceptual framework/understanding of true Nature Cure. I remember finding an entire collection of Lindlahr's books in an old used book store almost 40 years ago. I was so inspired by what I read that I immediately began experimenting on myself. Within a few years I had completed my training and was in practice. Between Henry Lindlahr and Dr. Randolph Stone I learned the essential fundamentals of Nature Cure/Energy Medicine. Using the principles described in this book and in Dr. Stone's books I have not needed to see a doctor since 1970 and at age 62 take no medications of any kind ever (haven't for over 42 years). Plus I am stronger than I have ever been in my life. This book is one of the first books I tend to recommend to sincere students of natural healing.
9 of 10 people found the following review helpful. Delightful and empowering. By Trillium The first few chapters are inelegant and hard to read. The meat of the book is much better. An excellent resource for the philosophy and historical practice of the nature cure tradition. Amazing how such simple truths still hold true today for proper functioning of our bodies and building health. Easily accessible language and very empowering.
