An absolute must read for veterans & civilians alike. Lori does a great job of detailing the struggles that veterans face, both while in the military & after they've returned to civilian life.

Moving, gripping and very well written By Christopher Shields I purchased his book at a book signing.Smart, thought provoking, and intensely honest, Holyfield's work gave me tremendous insight into the struggles combat veteran's face after returning from war. Her writing is superb, and I found the soldiers' stories captivating, beautifully illustrative and haunting at the same time. This is a must read for soldiers and their family members.
