From what I understand, the author intends this to be the last of what's been one of the better fantasy stories I've read. This novel continues from where the previous ones left off and, not to spoil anything, resolves one of the bigger issues of the series in a fairly satisfactory manor. I regret that there won't be more stories about these characters, but I am satisfied with how it ended.

Once again our heroes face the unknown with courage and quiet confidence to save the world and each other from those who would do evil. This series is a wonderful adventure that I will read again. I always come away with more than the story from Drakes books.
